Humanitarian Relief Response

As natural disasters, geopolitical conflict, and public health threats persist, AdvaMed member companies step up to provide medical supplies, equipment, and clinical training around the globe. In recognition of the ongoing challenges, AdvaMed created this resource page for companies eager to partner with humanitarian relief organizations and support their efforts around the world. We’ve compiled a list of NGOs that have a strong track record of working with the medtech industry and adhere to the Partnership for Quality Medical Donations (PQMD) guidelines. AdvaMed members may find it helpful to work with these organizations to ensure critically needed goods and services reach intended recipients in complex environments.

NGO Partners

About the Partnership for Quality Medical Donations: PQMD members and their partners combine product contributions with cash, volunteers, training, and other services to support a wide range of global health programs. Members work with global partners to eliminate disease, develop healthcare infrastructure, build capacity for healthcare workers, and support local health-related services. PQMD has developed guidelines to ensure that international protocols for the delivery of donated medical products are followed and inform the work in supplying critical donated medical products, devices, and services to those in need across the globe.
