AdvaMed Advocates for Skin Substitute Coding and Coverage Policy Changes in Advance of Annual Rulemaking

first page of letter

On March 10, AdvaMed submitted a letter to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regarding coverage and payment policies for skin substitute products as used and paid for in the outpatient and physician office setting. AdvaMed urged CMS to address inconsistent policies implemented in last year’s rulemaking in order to ensure appropriate coding, payment, and reporting of these products.
