AdvaMed’s Whitaker’s Statement on Sec. Raimondo’s Trip to China
WASHINGTON, D.C. – AdvaMed, the Medtech Association, released the following statement from President and CEO Scott Whitaker on Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo’s trip to China:
“With the ongoing policy complexities facing the medtech industry in China and around the world, AdvaMed is encouraged by Secretary Raimondo’s trip to China to further engagement on the critical economic and commercial issues between our two countries. AdvaMed is committed to working with our domestic and global partners to ensure patients, regardless of where they live, have access to life-saving medical technology, so these high-level government meetings are essential to address our concerns about the uncertainties our members face in the Chinese market.”
