Elizabeth Scheurell, Associate Director, Innovation Consulting – Head of Human Factors, EPAM
Elizabeth Scheurell is an experienced professional in human factors and innovation consulting, currently serving as Associate Director and Head of Human Factors at EPAM Continuum since August 2022. Prior to this, Elizabeth held positions at Amgen as a Senior Human Factors Engineer and at Phillips-Medisize in various engineering roles, where responsibilities included overseeing human factors engineering processes and working within human-centered design teams for medical products.
Elizabeth’s background encompasses significant expertise in usability assessments, risk analysis, and product development cycles, supported by a Master of Science in Human Factors & Ergonomics from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial and Product Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Additional experience includes industrial design and engineering work for companies like Golden Calf Company and Regalo Baby International.

Simon Shamoun, Human Factors Consultant and Owner, Defensible Research Design LLC
Simon Shamoun is a human factors consultant and owner of Defensible Research and Design. Simon brings a unique blend of expertise in human factors, system engineering, and design, and has worked at globally recognized companies such as NASA, Medtronic, and Abbott. His approach combines deep industry and academic knowledge with a passion for creating intuitive, effective, and safe solutions that address complex business challenges and meet the demands of regulated bodies.

Vaishnavi Kishore, Product Owner, Eyetelligence Platform, Bausch + Lomb
Vaishu has been a Product Manager for the last several years, focused on delivering a seamless customer experience within digital ecosystems. She is passionate about medical technology and enjoy defining software solutions for HCPs and patients. She lives in New Jersey and loves traveling, especially to places where she can spend time outdoors.
