Greg is a principal at MIDI, a full-service product development consulting firm specializing in the design and development of medical, life sciences, and home healthcare products. With over 30 years of experience, Greg has serviced a diverse clientele, including domestic and international MedTech and Biotech startups, emerging companies, and Fortune 500 corporations.

As a co-pioneer of the firm’s DevelopmentDNA innovation and quality process for development, Greg has implemented a comprehensive philosophy that integrates advanced research and development, design UI/UX, and engineering to generate nest step results. This unique approach to medical product development provides Greg’s clients exceptional thoroughness in delivering innovative product development outcomes that leads to better patient outcomes and expanded client market share.

Greg received his formal education in Industrial Design and Ergonomics at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He also lends his expertise as an external advisor to medical accelerator groups such as the TMC Innovation Institute, Columbia-Coulter Research BiomedX, and the NYS Center for Biotechnology.

Simon Johnson, SVP Marketing, MedAcuity Software

Simon leads the go-to-market strategy, sales and marketing for MedAcuity, a software engineering firm which partners with MedTech and Life Sciences companies to address the business and technical challenges inherent in developing complex software-intensive solutions. 

Prior to that he built the Client Partner team atMobiquity Inc, an industry leading Digital Consultancy responsible for strategic client development and was the Senior Vice President of Client Services at GreenPages Technologies Inc, responsible for driving the company’s Services Revenue growth leading to its acquisition by Abry Partners in December 2020.   

Simon has held leadership Consulting Services and Sales roles in NA , LATAM and EMEA. He served as Worldwide Senior Director of Professional Services in Seagate’s Cloud Systems and Solutions group and Director of Service Management and Pre-sales at GlassHouse Technologies, running the company’s Americas Pre-Sales and Practice Lead teams across all market verticals, following a consulting career in the company’s EMEA region. 

He holds a BSc in Information Systems Management from Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom.
