Zack Hornberger, Senior Director, Digital Health & Imaging Technology, AdvaMed

A digital health and imaging technology leader at AdvaMed®, with more than six years of experience spanning cybersecurity, medical imaging, and health IT. Work focuses on developing standards and guidance that address emerging challenges in artificial intelligence, device interoperability, and security best practices, while supporting safe innovation across the medtech ecosystem.
Previously at NEMA’s Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance (MITA), built a strong track record translating complex technical issues into practical policies and strategies. Known for a detail-oriented, collaborative approach, with deep experience working alongside subject matter experts to align technology, standards, and regulatory priorities in an evolving healthcare landscape.
Peter Weems, Vice President, Imaging Government Affairs & Policy Strategy, AdvaMed

Peter Weems is vice president of imaging government affairs and policy strategy at AdvaMed, the MedTech Association. Prior to joining AdvaMed, Weems was MITA’s (Medical Imaging and Technology Alliance’s) director of policy and strategy, responsible for advancing regulatory and policy priorities important to the medical imaging industry. Prior to joining MITA, he served as an associate with van der Walde and Company, where he researched and analyzed federal health care payment policy. Weems earned his BA in philosophy from James Madison University and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Republic of Armenia.
Diane Wurzburger, Vice President, Regulatory, Quality, & Global Strategic Policy, GE HealthCare

Diane Wurzburger, J.D., RAC is a Vice President of Regulatory, Quality and Global Strategic Policy for GE HealthCare. She is an active member of AdvaMed, co-chairing the Global Harmonization Work Group, and of the Advamed Medical Imaging Division, serving as Chair of the Technical and Regulatory Committee. She also serves on the AAMI Board of Directors. Diane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and a Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall Law School.
