Use Case: Application of the Medtech Value Assessment Framework to Siemens Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography (CCTA)

In response to the growing need to demonstrate how medical technologies fit into the emerging value-based paradigm for providers, payers, and patients, AdvaMed launched a Strategic Value Initiative to develop an approach to value assessment for medical technologies that can be used by Medical technology companies as well as by health systems, payers, and other stakeholders. This use case demonstrates the value of the Siemens Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography (CCTA) across all of the identified value drivers and for a range of stakeholders.
