Supreme Court Term in Review: Implications for the Medical Technology Industry

WASHINGTON, D.C. –  AdvaMed, the Medtech Association, today announced that its board of directors has unanimously approved revisions to the AdvaMed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Health Care Professionals.   

AdvaMed was honored to address delegates at the 12th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Ethics for SMEs Forum held in Seoul, Korea, on September 8-9, 2025. AdvaMed galvanized delegates from across the APEC region to advance high standard business integrity codes to ensure patients everywhere have access to the best medtech for them.

Washington, D.C.—AdvaMed, the Medtech Association, asked the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts to rule as a matter of law that independent sales agent (ISA) arrangements do not — by themselves — violate the Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS) and, accordingly, grant summary judgment in the Langer v Zimmer Biomet case.
