WASHINGTON, D.C. – AdvaMed released the following statement from President and CEO Scott Whitaker on the tragic passing of U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.), along with two staff members:

“Our country and the state of Indiana have lost a truly great leader in Congress, and the medical technology community has lost one of its strongest advocates and champions—and a true friend. Rep. Walorski understood the power of medical technology to save and improve lives, and leaves behind a powerful legacy of fighting fiercely on behalf of patients. We will miss working with her. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers go out to her family and loved ones during this tragic time.”
