AdvaMed Announces Opening of Nomination Period for 10th Annual Lifetime Achievement Award

WASHINGTON, D.C. – AdvaMed announced today that the nomination period for its 10th annual Lifetime Achievement Award is now open. The award will be presented at The Medtech Conference, which will be held in Boston in October.

Since 2013, AdvaMed has recognized individuals who have had a significant impact on the medical technology industry with the presentation of the AdvaMed Lifetime Achievement Award. This prestigious award takes into consideration individuals from across all medtech sectors who have continuously displayed commitment, promoted progress, and were a catalyst for positive change in the medtech industry.

“Our annual Lifetime Achievement Award is an opportunity to place a spotlight on the extraordinary leaders in our industry who have dedicated their careers to this lifesaving industry and have had a significant impact on patients’ lives,” said AdvaMed President and CEO Scott Whitaker. “As is the case every year, I know we will receive nominations for many worthy candidates and choosing only one winner will be difficult. Ultimately, whoever is chosen for the award will exemplify the commitment and dedication to life-changing innovation that defines the medtech industry.”

Nominees for AdvaMed’s Lifetime Achievement Award should be outstanding individuals who have made significant and prolonged contributions to the medical technology industry.
