Amy Degenkolb, CEO, Founder, Novocuff

Amy Degenkolb is an engineer, co-founder, and CEO of Novocuff, where she leads the company’s efforts to improve outcomes in maternal health. Since 2012, she has focused her career on developing medical technologies for women, motivated by the need to address an area of medicine that has historically received limited investment and attention. As a lead engineer on the JADA System for postpartum hemorrhage, she contributed to a technology addressing one of the leading causes of maternal mortality. That experience reinforced her commitment to advancing meaningful innovation in women’s and maternal health.

Odayme Quesada, MD, MHS, FACC, FAHA, FESC, Medical Director of the Women’s Heart Center at The Christ Hospital Health Network

Odayme Quesada is a board-certified cardiologist, clinician-scientist, and Medical Director of the Women’s Heart Center at The Christ Hospital Health Network. She holds the Ginger Warner Endowed Chair in Women’s Cardiovascular Health and is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of
Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Quesada’s earned both her MD and MHS degrees from Yale University School of Medicine, followed by an internal medicine residency at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and cardiovascular medicine fellowship and an NIH T32 postdoctoral cardiovascular
research fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Quesada’s clinical and research interests focus on cardiovascular disease in women, including angina and myocardial infarction with non-obstructive coronary arteries (ANOCA/MINOCA), coronary microvascular and vasomotor dysfunction, and sexspecific cardiovascular risk factors. She leads multiple clinical trials and research programs aimed at improving the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular disease in women.
