
Sarah Arth serves as Senior Vice President, Event Strategy & Industry Engagement at the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), the leading trade association representing medical technology innovators dedicated to advancing medical innovation to improve lives and economies worldwide.
In her role, Sarah leads the strategic vision and execution of AdvaMed’s global portfolio of educational programs, conferences, and industry convenings, with a strong emphasis on the healthcare and life sciences sectors. She is responsible for developing high-impact event strategies that drive engagement, deliver measurable value, and advance industry priorities. Sarah is also the operational lead for AdvaMed’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, creating programs that foster collaboration, representation, and leadership across the medtech industry.
With deep expertise in strategic event design, Sarah specializes in building scalable, results-driven programs that enhance effectiveness, sustainability, and audience experience across complex healthcare ecosystems.
Prior to joining AdvaMed, Sarah spent 11 years at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), where she led strategy and execution for BIO’s extensive portfolio of educational programs and events serving the global biotechnology and life sciences community.
Earlier in her career, Sarah spent a decade at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS), holding roles across programming, grassroots outreach, and fundraising, further grounding her experience in healthcare policy, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement.
