Kirsten Tullia serves as Executive Director for AdvaMed® Digital Health Tech™. In this role, she directs the policy, advocacy, communications, and legislative strategy of the division, which represents a wide range of medical and digital technology companies driving transformative advances in digital health across the healthcare ecosystem.

Prior to this position, Kirsten was Senior Vice President in AdvaMed’s Payment & Health Care Delivery Policy Department, where she covered a wide range of policy issues, including coverage and payment for AI and digital technologies, Medicare fee-for-service payment systems, and alternative payment models. Kirsten also serves as AdvaMed’s Head of Research, leading strategic planning for and execution of research projects to advance industry priorities and objectives. She is a frequent speaker on medical device coverage and payment issues, and serves as a board member of Heart Valve Voice, a patient advocacy non-profit focused on transforming the way heart valve disease is recognized, diagnosed, and treated.

Prior to joining AdvaMed, Kirsten served as the Department Head for Health Policy at the MITRE Corporation, where she led teams supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in addressing healthcare quality and payment issues through strategic planning, research and evaluation, and regulatory development. 

Kirsten holds a J.D., cum laude, from the American University Washington College of Law, where she was President of the Health Law and Justice Society and Executive Editor of the Health Law and Policy Brief. She also holds an M.P.H. from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a B.A. in English from Southern Virginia University.

Kirsten is an avid hiker, voracious reader, and RYT-200 certified yoga teacher.
