As we prepare for The MedTech Conference, hosted by AdvaMed®, I couldn’t be more inspired by what our team is building for 2026 and what attendees can expect when the global medtech community gathers in Boston this October.
Since we were last in Boston four years ago, both the industry and this conference have continued to advance and prove resilient through periods of rapid change and innovation. Last year marked the largest U.S.-based MedTech Conference hosted to date, and we know this year will continue to build on that momentum through high-quality programming, meaningful business opportunities, and strong global participation.
The MedTech Conference has continued to grow in value, quality, participation, and industry engagement—with increased involvement from AdvaMed members, small and emerging companies, investors, public officials, global delegations, and strategic partners across the medtech ecosystem. This year, we are expecting more than 4,000 attendees from 38+ countries, reinforcing the conference’s role as a truly global gathering for medtech leaders and innovators.
We’ve also continued to create more opportunities for start-ups and emerging companies to increase visibility, build partnerships, and connect with investors, medtech leadership, and key decision-makers across the industry.
Boston is the ideal backdrop for these conversations. As one of the world’s leading medtech and life sciences hubs, the region brings together an exceptional concentration of innovation, talent, research institutions, manufacturers, providers, health systems, and investors—making it a natural place for the industry to gather.
Over the past year, our team has worked closely with attendees, partners, exhibitors, and industry leaders to shape this year’s experience. We are seeing tremendous engagement around program development and participation for 2026, with leaders contributing perspectives on AI, diagnostics, digital health, manufacturing, policy, reimbursement, investment, and global market access and much more. One exciting addition this year is our new Contract Manufacturing Zone in the Medtech Campus, designed to spotlight the essential manufacturing and supply chain partners helping power the future of medtech.
Attendees can expect:
- Expanded networking and business development opportunities
- Dynamic education you can’t get anywhere else, focused on the issues shaping medtech today and tomorrow
- Meaningful opportunities for start-ups, small companies, and investors to connect
- Enhanced experiences across the Medtech Campus and exhibit floor to educate and connect
- New opportunities to engage with manufacturers, suppliers, and strategic partners
What continues to make this event unique is the ability to bring together business, policy, technology, and innovation all in one place. The conversations that happen onsite help move partnerships forward, accelerate ideas, and shape the future direction of the industry.
That spirit is also reflected in this year’s conference theme, “Medtech Moves Us” — a recognition of the innovation, collaboration, and purpose that continue to drive our industry forward and improve lives around the world.
We are also incredibly grateful for the partnership and collaboration from organizations helping strengthen this year’s event and expand engagement across the industry, including MassMEDIC, California Life Sciences (CLS), Biocom California, and Medtech Canada.
The momentum heading into Boston is incredibly strong, and we look forward to welcoming the global medtech community together again October 18–21, 2026.
