AdvaMed Congratulates Olympus’s Caroline West on Receiving The 2020 Accenture Medtech Ethical Leadership Award

WASHINGTON, D.C.  The Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) today announced that Caroline West, global chief compliance officer, Olympus Corporation, was honored with the 2020 Accenture Award for Leadership in the Advancement of Ethics in the Medtech Industry. Presented at The Virtual Medtech Conference, the award is sponsored this year by Accenture and given annually under AdvaMed’s auspices to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the advancement of ethics and ethical behavior in the medical technology industry.

“Caroline’s integrity and outstanding leadership in advancing ethics and global business compliance in the medtech industry are exactly what this award is all about,” said Scott Whitaker, president and CEO of AdvaMed. “We join our friends at Olympus and across the industry in congratulating Caroline on a well-deserved honor.”

Caroline has led development of best practices and served as a trusted mentor, bringing enthusiasm and passion to her coaching of medtech leaders,” White said.
