About the Network
The AdvaMed PRIDE Leadership Network is a newly formed inclusion and diversity initiative with a mission focused on developing a more diverse future for the medical technology and diagnostics industries. Together, we will engage and elevate a community of LGBTQ executives, employees and allies to create a more diverse and welcoming professional environment.

Rebecca Rehm and Matt Wetzel, co-chairs of AdvaMed’s PRIDE Leadership Network, discussed the importance of creating an effective and inclusive LGBTQ+ employee resource group. As our member companies work to support all employees and stakeholders, many companies struggle with where to even begin. This webinar gave attendees a jumping off point and suggestions for how to launch and a chance to ask questions about challenges, successes, and opportunities for developing medtech ERGs.

Str8 Talk
The PRIDE Leadership Network hosted its first Str8 Talk Panel Discussion. Str8 Talk is a panel discussion between individuals representing different identities within the LGBTQ community. The panelists spoke on what pride means to them, the importance of representation in the workplace, their personal experiences with being out professionally, and more.
