Value of Technology Hill Event

AdvaMed's Value of Technology Reception
Cannon House Office Building
June 20, 2007

AdvaMed hosted an enormously successful Capitol Hill reception on June 20 as part of our Value of Technology public awareness campaign. More than 450 people attended the event, People Who Make Progress You Can See, including 16 Members of Congress and 175 congressional and committee staff representing more than 100 congressional offices. Our celebrity guest, Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actress Jane Seymour, shared her story of how she benefited from minimally invasive back surgery and delighted the crowd with anecdotes of her father, a physician and medical device innovator. Event attendees were quite interested in viewing the exciting exhibits and hearing the personal stories of patients whose lives have been transformed by medical technology.
