AdvaMed 2007: The Med Tech Conference announced today keynote speakers, plenary speakers, and honored guests for the October 1-3 conference and exhibition at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, as well as 40 innovative companies selected to present during the conference.

AdvaMed 2007 guests include: invited honoree Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi (D-California); keynote speaker former President George H.W. Bush; U.S. Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez; U.S. Senator Norm Coleman (R-Minnesota); U.S. Representative Lois Capps (D-California); Acting Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Kerry Weems; and University of Connecticut Hall of Fame Basketball Coach, Jim Calhoun.

In addition to 55 educational panels in 12 diverse tracks,
AdvaMed 2007 will include two days of one-on-one business partnering meetings, an exhibition hall and table top display area, and more than 40 company presentations. Innovative companies from 17 states and three countries have been selected to present to potential investors and collaborators in: Cardiovascular, Diagnostics, Imaging, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Wound Care and Additional Hot Topic time slots. Companies will have14 minutes to provide an overview of the company as well as products in development or available for licensing.
